Dr. Glenn D Gamble

Dr. Gamble’s interest in natural health care began over 25 years ago. He has been a practicing doctor
for over 16 years using the principles of natural medicine to maintain balance and restore health. He believes that everyone has the ability to achieve and maintain optimal health when given proper
guidance and support.

Dr Gamble is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and East Asian Medicine Practitioner in Washington
State. He completed the Naturopathic Medicine program at Bastyr University in 2003 and Masters in
Acupuncture in 2005. Prior to moving to Washington state he practiced as a chiropractor in the Chicago
area of Illinois after obtaining his Chiropractic degree from National College of Chiropractic. He also
obtained a Bachlor of Science in Human Biology form NCC and a Bachelor of Music from West Virginia
University.

Dr. Gamble has had a passion for nutrition throughout his health career and has been board certified
with a diplomate status in nutrition. He feels that maintaining an optimal body composition as a
measure health can reduce the risk of many chronic diseases that are prevalent in our society today.

Dr. Emily Penney

Dr. Emily Penney graduated from Bastyr University in 2006, one of the most respected naturopathic medical schools in the world. Dr. Penney specializes in weight loss, nutrition, hormone balancing, and allergy treatments. Originally from the East Coast, she lives in Los Angeles, California, where she enjoys practicing yoga and hiking in the beautiful Malibu mountains. 

Dr. John Bullis

 Dr. Bullis has a keen interest in the emerging fields of “anti-aging” and “functional” medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), having recently completed their Fellowship in Anti-Aging Medicine course of study. His new, holistic medical practice, “A-to- Zen Total Wellness” embodies this interest and his belief that wellness medicine is the medicine of the future. Dr. Bullis has extensive experience in managing age-related hormonal changes in women and men with the use of natural, human hormones. He is also very knowledgeable in weight loss and weight management, having served as Medical Director of Ajuva Medical Weight Loss in Spokane, WA and attended conferences by the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.

Wellness medicine includes herbal and nutritional therapy, physical fitness, and wellness of the spirit. Through the study of Functional Medicine, he also has success treating difficult medical conditions, such as chronic fatigue, chronic pain, intestinal problems, food intolerances, and endocrine disorders. The most basic principle of Functional Medicine is to treat the cause of the symptom, rather than the symptom, per se. (For example, treating the source of inflammation, rather than just giving an anti-inflammatory medication.)

Dr. Bullis has been board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1997 and has had a successful and diverse medical career. A native of Washington, D.C., he attended both undergraduate and medical school at Georgetown University and obtained a Masters Degree in physiology at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Dr. Bullis served as a physician in the U.S. Army at Ft. Lewis, WA, Fort Belvoir, VA, and Walter Reed Army Medical Center, in Washington, D.C. While at Walter Reed, he was able to hone his surgical skills, focusing almost exclusively on uro-gynecology, pelvic reconstructive surgery, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. As part of his Ob-Gyn practice in North Carolina, he offered liposuction and facial rejuvenation with Botox and dermal fillers. He has completed many advanced liposuction courses under the guidance of renowned experts and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons (AACS) and will soon have his second board certification through that organization. He currently practices cosmetic surgery at Athenix Body Sculpting Institute in Bellevue, WA and also oversees the medical-esthetic staff at Seattle Executive Spa in downtown Seattle.

Dr. Eve Rockafellow

With a lifelong interest in medicine and natural health, Dr. Rockafellow moved from her home state of Arizona and began her schooling as a naturopathic doctor at Bastyr University in the Seattle area in 2001. Upon graduation, she opened her private practice in Washington State, and
focused her specialty on treatments for acute and chronic pain in victims of car accidents, sports injuries, and work related injuries. Her primary modality for working with these injuries was craniosacral therapy, a gentle but highly effective form of bodywork that can get results when all else has failed. After several years, and many grateful patients, Dr. Rockafellow decided it was time to move back to a sunny climate, and came to California to start fresh.

During school, Dr. Rockafellow found that she gravitated toward teaching people how to live a healthy lifestyle as the primary prevention for most disease. Improving health through sensible eating habits, and reversing disease through weight loss and management, became one of her passions. Dr. Rockafellow has always had an interest in helping people achieve their body composition goal, so it made sense for her to join the team at SlimXpress, where the program is scientifically validated to provide for healthy and effective weight loss results. Since losing weight can reduce cholesterol, heart disease risk, and diabetes risks, Dr. Rockafellow is excited to work with patients at SlimXpress who really desire to make the changes necessary to live a longer and healthier life.

Seti Mayet - Licensed Aesthetician

Seti’s passion for skin care started at the age of 12 years old. Although, she had had no interest in cooking, she would raid her mother’s refrigerator and kitchen cabinets to create all natural specialty masks and treatments that she would use on herself and friends at slumber parties. Avocado and honey to hydrate and moisturize the skin, firming egg whites for tightening, or finely ground oatmeal and buttermilk to exfoliate. The textures and aromas were a big hit and an aesthetician was born!

Today, Seti continues to use her creative skills as a licensed aesthetician, certified massage therapist and passionate healer to help you achieve the vibrantly healthy skin you deserve. As a strong believer in the therapeutic benefits of touch therapy, she takes a holistic approach to treating skin by combining natural ingredients, cosmeceutical grade products and integrative healing work to achieve exceptional results.

Her areas of expertise include anti-aging therapy, acne skin conditions, cellulite reduction, body contouring and treating globally diverse skin. She obtained her aesthetic license in San Francisco under the study of Master Teacher and Educator Maria Lorenzo and holds Advanced Certification and training from The International Dermal Institute in Southern California where she later became an Instructor.

Seti was Regional Training and Education Director for Zia Natural Skincare where she conducted skin care seminars across the US and Canada and worked in product development. She is certified in Swedish massage from California Healing College in Santa Monica, CA and is currently obtaining certification in Holistic Nutrition.
